Bob Marley Wedding Tour
The Brief
I was contacted by Karen, who’s long-time friend was getting married. The bride was going to have a day in London with her bridesmaids and Karen thought a tour would be fun. She asked if it could have a wedding theme.
Upon further investigation, I found out the bride and groom were massive Bob Marley fans. So, with a little bit of creativity, I created The Bob Marley Wedding Tour!
The Tour
Our tour was a 2 hour walk through London, incorporating some Bob Marley-related locations (Lyceum Theatre - where he recorded his live album) and some wedding history and locations (St Bride’s Church - which inspired the tiered wedding cake).
We ended a few blocks from their lunch location, and the group said that it had been such a lovely and personalised tour for the day.
Crime & Punishment, Law & Order Tour
The Brief
A group of military and law enforcement officers from Belgium contacted me to create a specialised tour for them.
There was a big interest in Sherlock Holmes, but given their careers, they also wanted a bit of real history, too. They also wanted a pub stop.
The Tour
I created a 3 hour tour incorporating some Sherlock Holmes locations, a few back alleys with stories about criminals who had been captured, and found a unique pub very close to the Royal Courts of Justice.
It was a fantastic evening, and my favourite part was when they all broke out into several verses of “What do you do with a drunken sailor?” I was delighted to see them again the following year for a similar tour.
